Product Description
Tebuconazole + Sulphur is a broad-spectrum fungicide that combines a systemic triazole fungicide (Tebuconazole) with a non-systemic, contact and vapor-acting fungicide (Sulphur) for comprehensive control of plant fungal diseases. This dual-action product offers both preventive and curative protection by inhibiting fungal cell wall formation (Tebuconazole) and disrupting fungal growth through surface coating and vapor action (Sulphur). It is effective against diseases like powdery mildew, fruit rot, leaf spots, and pod blight on crops such as chilli, soybean, and mango.
How it works:
Tebuconazole:
This systemic component inhibits ergosterol synthesis, which is crucial for forming fungal cell walls, thus stopping fungal growth. It is absorbed by the plant and translocated to control diseases.
Sulphur:
This non-systemic component acts through contact and vapor action, creating a protective coating on the plant's surface and interfering with the germination of fungal spores.
